  1. Awesome movies here!

A more recent one that I couldn’t see within the page is ‘The Secret Life of Walter Mitty’ featuring Ben Stiller.

Not sure if you’ve seen it but I have to say that it’s definitely an inspiring film, and motivates you to do the things you want to in life, rather than just think about them.

    Thanks again,

    • Thanks Dan for the suggestion.

I watched the trailer, the movie looks very interesting. I will see if I can watch it the next weekend.

Also, I have included your suggestion in the article.

      Thanks for stopping by.

  2. Hey Steve,

Awesome list. A few I would add

    Bruce Almighty
    Evan Almighty
    The Delivery Man
    The Apprentiship

I love light hearted uplifting movies. But I also love Shawshank Redemption and Pay It Forward too…

    All the best,

    • Hi Amit,

Thanks a lot for your wonderful suggestions. The movie with Jim Carrey is excellent. I don’t know the delivery man and the apprenticeship yet, but I will try to find their trailers.

I’ll include them in the article, if you don’t mind. Thanks again for stopping by.

  3. I’ve seen all but 2 of your top movie suggestions. Loved them all. And made myself a list of all your suggested movies. Thank you so much.. This will be a “get in my pjs make some popcorn, grab a box of tissues, & watch some great inspiring tv kind of weekend. Haha..Which in my opinion, aren’t enough of. Thanks again.

    • Now that you mention it, I also think it’s time for some popcorn. Haven’t watched many of those movies in a long time, so I will definitely have to catch up.

  4. Its a great artivle steve about the motivational movie.

Shawshank redemption truly motivates me. Set a goal and go for it no matter how much effort it will take.

i have a question for you is there any situation or any darkest hour for a human from which he can’t rise?

    • Yes I believe there is. Death. But even then, when we consider the philosophical concepts about death it is regarded to be more or transformation or beginning than an and.

  5. Great Answer Steve. You mean to say that human can rise from any darkest situation in his life except death.

I want to add some few lines from my side :-

“Suicide does not end the chances of life getting worse, Suicide eliminates the possibility of it ever getting better”

    • That’s an incredibly wise quote. Thanks for sharing it. You’re absolutely right about it. I have never considered it that way, but the quote is just wonderful and so correct. Thanks thanks thanks

  6. You Welcome Steve

Steve now read this article carefully and comment on this. I want to know what you think about it and whats your opinion towards it.

Are you doing what you love?

    [Copyrighted material removed]

    • Not much of a problem. Everything’s fine. Just had to delete it to stay out of trouble. I haven’t had time to check it out yet, but I will comment later.

Edit: I have read the article and I like it. It is based upon the very known known concept that you will only be able to truly achieve success when you do something that you absolutely love. When you follow your passion.

When you follow your passion there will be nothing that keeps you from accomplishing success in it. There will be no effort to high for you and no obstacle to great to overcome.

The true and big problem however lies therein that it is often times tremendously difficult to make a living out of your passion. And I think at this stage the article has problems at showing effective ways not only to find your passion but also to make a living from it. Not every passion can be commercialized I guess. However, I have no better solutions to offer than the author of this article, so I’m not going to criticize him. In fact, I find the article inspiring and helpful.

  7. Lovely list! Thank you very much!

I recomend you my favourit movie: 3 Idiots

Contrary to the title and the poster isn’t silly.
Deep messages and a lot of funny moments.

This is a film form India, but not typic bolywood movie. The most powerfull movie what I have ever seen about friendship, love, learning, self-develepomnet…

  8. I LOVE Pursuit of Happyness and Forrest Gump. Patch Adams on the other hand, was the movie that inspired me to study hard in biological sciences (not a doctor though). My other favorites include:

The Devil Wears Prada – it taught me that sometimes, we are on the wrong road to success. So we need to switch gears and try again. Never be afraid to quit something that you know is wrong for you!

Big Fish – be a great storyteller. People love stories – and in your twilight years, you’ll be happy to look back and say “I lived that life, didn’t I”.

Unbreakable – “if you can take it, you can make it”. Awesome movie.

  9. What a fantastic list of movies. I’ve seen a couple of them, but there are so many new suggestions that I don’t even know where to start.

  10. There are outstanding movies in this list. I agree with you that those movies that I know are incredibly motivating. But now I’m heading off to discover all these other movies that I haven’t seen yet.

A later one that I couldn’t see inside the page is ‘The Secret Life of Walter Mitty’ including Ben Stiller.

Not certain on the off chance that you’ve seen it but rather I need to state that it’s unquestionably a rousing film, and spurs you to do the things you need to throughout everyday life, as opposed to simply consider them.

    Much obliged once more,

    • The movie “Greater” could very well be the most inspirational movie that I’ve ever seen that’s based on a true story about having enough ambition and drive that goes from underdog to success. I’ve read a lot of descriptions about that movie on a lot of different websites but they dont give it justice
